PREP TIME: 30 MIN|COOK TIME: 45-100 MIN
INGREDIENTS
1 whole turkey (10-12lbs)
2 sticks butter
Burch Barrel Rooster’s Strutt
1 cup chicken broth
STEPS

Fire up your Burch Barrel to 325°

Spatchcock your turkey by removing the spine and pressing firmly breaking the breast bone so the Turkey lays flat

Make your injection by melting 1 stick of butter and combining with 1 cup chicken broth and 1-2 Tbsp BurchBarrel’s Roosters Strutt

Inject your turkey and then season liberally with RoostersStrutt

Place on the Burch Barrel skin side up

Once your turkey hits 130°, flip it over (skin side down) sothat the skin can crisp up

Once your turkey hits 155°, flip it back over and brush with your favorite bbq sauce (we used Lillies Q’s Hot and Smoky)

Once your turkey hits 165°, pull it off and let it rest for 20 minutes before serving
