This honey glazed salmon with zesty lime, and garlic is a quick an easy meal the whole family will love. So fire up your Burch Barrel Grill, salmon always tastes better prepared over open fire.
Honey Lime Salmon
4 salmon filets - skin on
½ cup butter - melted
1 lime - zest & juice
2 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic - minced
¼ cup cilantro - chopped
Lime wedges - for garnish
Get the coals hot and set the coal pan mid track within the Burch Barrel grill.
In a small bowl, whisk together butter, zest, lime juice, honey, garlic, and cilantro. Set aside.
Brush both sides of the salmon with olive oil and season with sea salt.
Place the salmon the the grill grate, skin side down. Brush with butter mixture and grill 3-4 minutes or until the skin is crispy.
Flip and brush again with the butter mixture. Grill for 3-4 more minutes.
Remove the salmon from the grill when the internal temp reaches 125-130 degrees. The fish should be opaque pink on the outside, slightly firm, and flaky!
Brush salmon with the remaining butter and garnish with fresh lime wedges.
