The Coal Pan is an essential component to the Burch Barrel. One Coal pan is included with your Burch Barrel however, a second allows you to fully utilize a Dutch Oven and free up space on your barrel.
Begin by burning down or heating up a large bed of coals. Transfer some of those coals to the additional coal pan. Lower the first coal pan to the bottom notch of the Trackster Rail. Settle your dutch oven. Position the second Coal Pan to desired height. We like to set the second Coal Pan right on-top of the Dutch Oven. Remove dutch oven appropriately.
